The February 2022 Northern Rivers Flooding event was absolutely devastating for the community of Lismore. It claimed lives, destroyed homes, crippled businesses and has taken an untold toll on the overall community.
As the owners and managers of Lismore Square we realised that it was absolutely imperative to reinstate the shopping centre as quickly as possible.
We knew this vital piece of essential infrastructure needed to be urgently returned to the community to get local businesses back and up and running and return over 1000 local jobs.
With this objective in mind, our business rallied and delivered a complete centre development in 4 months, a project that would normally take close to 24 months.
The result has been outstanding, the centre looks amazing, the trading results are impressive, our retailers returned and our customers and community have supported us throughout the reinstatement process and beyond.
