At Lismore Square, our in-house marketing and design team plays a critical role in delivering authentic, community-focused campaigns that create meaningful local impact.
A recent example was Thank A First Responder Day, developed in partnership with Fortem Australia to recognise the first responders who have supported the Northern Rivers community through years of significant weather events and recovery efforts.
The campaign combined a customer-led phone booth activation, where visitors recorded personalised messages of thanks, with a social media video series profiling three local first responder heroes. To further drive engagement, the team coordinated supporting initiatives including an interactive Northern Rivers map donated by Vinnies NSW and thank-you gift baskets delivered to local first responder hubs.
By managing campaign strategy, creative development, content production and execution in-house, the team was able to respond directly to the needs of the local community and tell stories that genuinely resonated. The result was strong engagement both in-centre and online, positive community feedback, and increased sentiment towards the centre.
This campaign demonstrates how integrated asset management services, supported by an in-house marketing and design team, can deliver place-based campaigns that strengthen community connection while enhancing the value of retail assets.
